My Story
I started my career at 18 in a public-facing operational role with the police, where I quickly demonstrated leadership potential.
My first leadership role came at 21, marking the beginning of a 20-year journey in high-pressure environments where results and lives depended on clear decision-making.
My first senior management role was at 30. In my final role I worked as the Business Change Manager for the force, working between the Programme Management Teams and the business on IT system rollouts, the implementation of bodyworn cameras for officers and laptop and mobile app technology.
I also worked as part of the team that redesigned and implemented a change in the Force Operating Model, impacting 1 in 3 people within the organisation.
Throughout my police career, I combined operational leadership with developing others, co-delivering development programmes and coaching emerging leaders across the organisation.
In 2017, I was informed that my role with the Police would be made redundant. I knew this was the sign that it was time for me to make the leap and step into my passion for coaching and training full-time.
Phoenix Life and Wellbeing Coaching Ltd. officially came into existence on August 1st, 2017.
Since then, I've continued to dedicate myself to training and continuous development in diverse disciplines and methodologies. This commitment enables me to be flexible in my approach to those I work with.
Since then, I've become an Accredited Master Coach with the Association for Coaching, NLP Master Practitioner, and trained Executive Coach - credentials that complement my real-world leadership experience.
This unique combination of high-pressure leadership experience and advanced coaching expertise allows me to help leaders and business owners navigate their own transformations with confidence.
I work globally with clients while being based in Bristol, UK. When I'm not coaching or training, you'll find me travelling, reading, or supporting the local basketball community as both volunteer and sponsor.

My Passion Projects

Beyond client work, I'm committed to developing the next generation of leaders.
Running a business means more than generating revenue - it's about creating lasting impact and building legacy through the leaders you develop.
My work as a coach is centred around the ethos of my personal values of continuous improvement, positivity and making a difference, which is reflected in my passion and purpose projects.
I'm proud to sponsor Bristol Flyers Women's Basketball and ADOB Women's Rugby Teams - organisations where I see the same principles of high performance, teamwork, and resilience that I help business leaders develop.
Most significantly, I support Community of Purpose with their 'Purposeful Pathways' Programme for Bristol Young Heroes - recognising and celebrating young people who have achieved amazing accomplishments despite personal adversity, while equipping them with tools for their next steps.
As the programme states: "We want to recognise and celebrate successes, while equipping them for taking the next steps and building on their early success."
This work reinforces my core belief: leadership development isn't just about reaching your goals, it's about who you become in the process and how you lift others along the way.

About Me
Beyond my professional achievements, I've consistently demonstrated the same drive and resilience that defines my leadership approach.
In my late twenties, I transformed my relationship with fitness and discovered strongwoman competition. Within 12 months of entering the sport, I was competing at Europe's Strongest Woman - a testament to the focused, goal-oriented mindset I bring to everything I do.
This journey caught the attention of Red Bull TV, who featured my competitive story in 2016. Since then, I've appeared on radio, television, and podcasts, and regularly speak about resilience, transformation, and achieving breakthrough performance.
These experiences reinforce what I know to be true: extraordinary results come from the right mindset, strategic planning, and consistent action - the same principles I help leaders and business owners apply in their professional lives.
As a parent to my adult son and someone who values staying active through weights and spin sessions, I understand the importance of maintaining balance while pursuing ambitious goals.
